Tights are made from
silk,
cotton or
nylon and are categorised by their denier rating. The denier rating defines how much material is used in making the tights and so a larger number indicates a thicker (and warmer) material.
Sheer tights are normally those with a denier rating below 20, whereas
opaque tights are those with a denier rating of 40 and above.
An alternative to the full tight is a
footless tight as these are move comfortable for long hot days. Choose from standard tights or go for the currently fashionable
patterned tights and
opaque tights.
