If you have a small bust
For the perfect look choose a bright colour that is lightly padded and underwired with some minor detailing.
If you are small on top then definately look for bikinis that are underwired and for a little extra help look for padded bikinis. Bandeau bikinis really suit you and only you can really wear small triangle bikinis that cause a sensation on the beach. Less is more when it comes to bikinis for smaller chests as too much fabric or a poor fit will not do you any favours. Try to get bikini tops with adjustable straps on both the shoulders and around the back to ensure you get a perfect fit. Tie side bikinis, ring, buckles and bows also really work well with smaller breasts so you are lucky to have the almost complete choice of what to wear. If you have a small hips
For the perfect look choose a bright colour and highcut briefs with strong detailing.
If you don't large hips then draw the eye upwards by
adding detailing to your bikini top such as ruffles, pleats, bows and
rings. Look for bikini briefs that have a high cut leg or opt for a hipster styled brief to create a curvier silhouette. Some nice detailing on the brief, such as a contrasting belt will work wonders for your figure. Swimsuits that are gathered or pinched around the waist will create the impression of curvier hips. Choose bright colours and avoid solid block colours, especially black as this will have a slimming effect and make you look even more boyish. If you have a long body
For the perfect look choose a cutaway one piece swimsuit in a light colour.
You have the perfect figure for a stylish cut away or cut out one piece swimsuit as these work perfectly with tall thin women
by providing visual breaks. Don't go too cut away or for massive vertical cuts as this will actually have the opposite
effect. Because of your shape you can focus on embellishements such as rings, jewels and ties on both your hips and your bust. Horizontal stripes will shorten your look whereas if you have a short body the steer clear of these and opt for horizontal stripes instead. Hipsters work best for your hips as high cut briefs can make your long legs look even longer. And ruffled skirts and sarongs are made just for you! Go for low neck lines rather than high ones as these will lengthen your body even more. If you have a big bust
For the perfect look choose a classically styled top and combine with a small beach wrap. If you are large on top then you need to ensure your
breasts are adequately supported and halterneck bikini tops are the
perfect answer. If possible look for styles that are banded around
base and tie up at the top for some lift and get a perfect
fit. Wide shoulder straps will be more comfortable than thin spagetti straps and avoid strapless bandeau style tops or tiny triangle bikini tops as these will not flatter you. One-piece swimsuits with integral support also work well. To draw attention away from your large chest look for detailing on your lower half or combine with a small beach skirt, sarong or wrap. If you have a large hips
For the perfect look choose a high cut dark swimsuit with strong visual detailing around the bust.
If you have large hips then the secret is to draw the
eye towards other areas of the body. One of the best techniques is
to have a contrasting top. For ultimate effect choose a plain dark
bikini bottom with a bright and vibrant bikini top. Or look for a
swimsuit that has the detailing around the bust rather than the
waist. Avoid anything with a horizontal pattern, especially if it is bold or striped. Choose high cut briefs or swimsuits to lengthen your legs and definately stay away from boyleg styled briefs as these will make you look stocky. A plain coloured one piece with a bright vertical pattern down the center can work wonders and instantly slim your hips. If you have a large tummy
For the perfect look choose a dark coloured control swimsuit or tankini. Then a control one piece swimsuit or control tankini
is your best option. These have a much nigher spandex content than
normal swimwear which will hold your tummy in on the beach.
The aim here is to draw the eyes away from your middle so go for subtle detailing on both the top and the bottom of the swimsuit leaving the centre as plain as possible. Don't make the mistake of wearing baggy swimwear as this can actually make you look worse and won't do your confidence much good either! Beach cover ups are a good option as they are quite light and flowing and will, to a certain extent, help you conceal any lumps and bumps you may have. But at the end of the day don't be shy and enjoy the summer sun as much as you can! |
