Who are we?

Following numerous trips to Bluewater  looking for THAT dress or THOSE jeans, which normally invloves being dragged from store to store to store (admit it ladies you know what I mean!) and normally not ever finding THAT dress or THAT pair of jeans, we hit upon the idea of a new concept in shopping. Instead of finding clothing you really like but then finding out its not available in your size, know MY size focuses primarily on your size and then shows you only clothes actually available in your size. 

What know MY size does is take the traditional shopping idea and twist it around.  In a normal department store you will have lots of smaller shops (known as consessions) sprinkled around - like Debenhams or John Lewis for example.  So you have to walk around the entire store looking in each 'shop' to find clothing.

We believe life should be easy and we've designed a website for you where all the clothes are group first by size and then split into departments - so all the size 12s are in one place so if your a size 12 you won't see size 8s or size 6s - which wouldn't fit you anyway so what is the point of looking at them?  We've reinvented the department store!  

Each floor is now dedicated to a single size, so the ground floor is only size 6, first floor only size 8, all the way up to the ninth floor which is a size 22.  Then we have filled it with all the top names and brands from many of the top stores.  So effectively you have your own personally tailored Bluewater, in the comfort of your own home at times to suit you.  If you must shop for THAT dress at 3 o'clock in the morning then we are here to make that happen.

So how do you use know MY size?

Simple, along the top of every page you will see a size selector (Shown on the image opposite as SELECT YOUR SIZE).  You will be able to select your size from a 6 to a 22 (if you would like a larger size range then please let us know here).  If you are in between sizes then click on the link on the top left (called Multi size?) which will pop up a size selector to allow you to select dual sizing.  If for example you are sometimes an 8 but other times a 10 - the website will then show you clothing from both sizes. Then down the left hand size there is a search area (Shown on the image opposite as SEARCH BOX)  for searching the entire website, within your selected size and our easy to use department selector (Shown on the image opposite as SHOP BY DEPARTMENT). ). Note: A parent department is say Lingerie and the child departments within Lingerie would be Bras, Briefs, Basques, etc.
If you click on a parent department then the department page will be displayed showing you the child departments (Shown on the image opposite as CHILD DEPARTMENTS).  Our current editors' favourites (Shown on the image opposite as EDITORS' FAVOURITES). If you have performed a text search for you have selected a child department then the search results page will be displayed (as shown opposite). This page will show you the results of your search in your selected size with some advanced ordering and filtering options on the right (Shown on the image opposite as SEARCHING AND FILTERING).  From this screen you will be able to filter by brand, price or colour or swap to a different department within the parent department you are currently shopping in. The default ordering is newest products first, but this can be changed to show cheapest first, sorted by brand or description, view the best selling clothign first or ordered by most popular (this setting puts clothig most rated by customers first. This is the product page where you can see full details of the item you like and when you want to purchase it click the (Shown on the image opposite as BUY THIS PRODUCT) button.  You can view extra images (if they are available by hovering the mouse over the smaller image or by clicking on the main image to popup the image browser screen. The sizes that are available and any additional colours will be displayed in the middle of the screen (Shown on the image opposite as SIZES AND COLOURS). In the top right you have navigation options (Shown on the image opposite as NAVIGATION) where you can loop through all the products that match your current search. If there are similar items to the one you are viewing available then these will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. The Rate Me box allows you to vote for your best (and worst) items and these get collated and used when searching for clothig and ordering the results by 'Most popular' There is also a Email to a friend function where we will email someone on your behalf to tell them you've seen something you would like them to buy or you think they would like.
